According to MobileGamer.biz, the negotiations for the acquisition of Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds, by Playnike, an Israeli mobile gaming giant, have now been concluded. The news of the attempted acquisition was first officially announced two months ago.
“The Rovio Board of Directors confirms that preliminary discussions with Playnika on the Rovio strategic assessment have now been concluded.”
“Rovio’s board of directors continues to conduct strategic reviews, including preliminary non binding discussions with certain other parties, in order to achieve the best results for Rovio and its shareholders,” Rovio said
Previously, in November last year, Playnika submitted an initial acquisition offer of 8.50 euros per share to Rovio’s board of directors. In February this year, Rovio announced that it was conducting multiple negotiations with other potential buyers, and some of the negotiations are still ongoing.https://forum.stoneitech.com/
