Performance Analysis of Light Tracing PC in “Eldon Fa Ring” High Requirements for Graphics Card Configuration

A light tracing patch has been released for “Elden Fahuan”, and FromSoftware uses ray tracing technology to enhance the game’s shadow and ambient light shielding. DSOGaming, a foreign gaming website, conducted a benchmark test of the effect of this light pursuit.
This test used AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 6000Mhz of 32GB DDR5 memory, NVIDIA’s RTX 2080Ti, RTX 3080, and RTX 4090. The operating system and drivers are Windows 10 64 bit and GeForce 531.26. The test location is the initial area of the game. This area has a lot of vegetation, and its RT effect will occupy most of the GPU.
At 1080p/highest picture quality/highest RT effect, the RTX3080 and RTX4090 can provide a smooth gaming experience with an average frame rate of around 60.
The only graphics card capable of providing a constant 60fps experience at 2K/highest image quality/highest RT effect is the RTX4090. As for native 4K/highest picture quality/highest RT effects, the RTX4090 can also provide a smooth gaming experience.
For comparison, the following is the performance of these three graphics cards without any ray tracing effects. It can be seen that all graphics cards can stably reach 60FPS except at 4K resolution.
DSOGaming stated that, in summary, the requirements for ray tracing effects in the Elden Method Ring are very high. However, if the player’s configuration is high, you can arbitrarily enable them. It is now hoped that FromSoftware will add support for DLSS 2 or FSR 2.0 through future updates.https://store.stoneitech.com/
