Yubeng Village is about 3000 meters above sea level, surrounded by five mountains with an altitude of more than 3700 meters and connected by ridges.
We stayed in the village under Yubeng Village. The village was not big. As soon as we entered this primitive mountain village, we felt the return of our hearts.
The villagers of Yubeng Village make a living by planting highland barley and animal husbandry. Pieces of highland barley fields are linked together, and golden wheat waves are rippling under the breeze.
The village is full of pink flowers. In the distance, there are shining snow mountains, and the nearby mountains are covered with primitive forests.
Here you can see the four seasons at a glance. There is a sea of flowers in spring at the foot of the mountain, and the mountains are covered with ice and snow in winter.
It is said that the rain avalanche hiking route is known as “the paradise of hikers” by hikers. The next day, we set out and walked through a large area of virgin forest to see the 3657 meters high waterfall, 12 kilometers round trip, about 6 hours. In the end, I was the only one in our team who finished the whole journey and reached the Divine Falls.
Hanging the wind horse flag is a Tibetan way of praying. Let the wind blow the wind horse flag to convey and realize their wishes to the mountain god. The Fengma flag is painted with mountain gods, who ride horses to patrol the area to protect the water, soil, people and animals.
There is a large mani pile on the river beach, which is also the Tibetan way of praying. Manidui, called “Duobang” in Tibetan, is a stone built.
The famous “five trees with the same root” landscape, five trees grow from the same root: three Yunnan seabuckthorn, one red birch, and one Sorbus mandshurica.
Walking to an altitude of 3290 meters, there is another sea of flowers, but above the sea of flowers is a glacier. During walking, I really felt that “there are four seasons in a mountain, and different days in ten miles”. On the way, it was sunny for a while, and then it suddenly began to rain.
The Holy Waterfall is located at 3657 meters above the sea level of Meili Snow Mountain. According to Tibetan Buddhism, it is the holy water retrieved from the sky by Kawagbo, the god of the snow mountain.
There are large glaciers around the Divine Falls, and only the Divine Falls pour down. I found that the slope of the glacier is very small, perhaps because the power of the water is not enough to resist the ice formation. Step on the glacier, look up at the divine waterfall, and feel the purification of the soul when you are in this magical ice and snow world.
After leaving the Divine Falls and walking down the mountain for a while, I met a Tibetan family of three people who came to turn the mountain. They were taking a rest, so I also stopped to have a rest. The host greeted me politely and asked me with concern that I had turned the waterfall? It turns out that Tibetan Buddhists have to turn around the mountain and water three times under the waterfall. At that time, I was the only one under the Divine Falls. I didn’t understand this. Seeing my embarrassment, the host repeatedly said, “What a pity, it’s white.”.
A little poem titled “Meili Snow Mountain and Yubeng Village”:
Highland barley sprouts wild flowers, and five trees come from the same root in four seasons.
Snow Ridge Glacier passed by, and only the Divine Waterfall was on the roof.
Starting from Yubeng Village, the hinterland of Meili Snow Mountain, and walking back and forth for 12 kilometers to Shenbao, a mountain with four seasons
